Delta’s primary maintenance facility at ATL has a number of BDI deflectors used for full power engine run-ups. Some of these deflectors are more than 40 years old and are exposed to regular high-power maintenance run-ups. Delta routinely engages BDI to inspect, repair, and recertify these deflectors.
