This project, which was the first installation of a glass passenger boarding bridge in the USA, was also the first installation of an expanded metal (mesh) jet blast fence. The client required a blast fence with a limited footprint and visual transparency. BDI developed this technology based on similar solutions provided by the company for projects in Europe.
