This MRO project required a deflector rated for full power engine run-ups to be installed directly in front of a tall building. BDI undertook a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) study to determine what deflector geometry would provide the optimal degree of protection. The result is a safe work environment that allows engine run-ups to be carried out around the clock.
