FedEx required a new jet blast deflector for their maintenance base at LAX. BDI’s solution takes the standard deflector design for MD-11/DC-10 aircraft and incorporates a few aerodynamic upgrades. This installation includes a tall section in the center section that has a height of 35’ (10.6m) and length of 60’ (18.m).
