- Create scale model of GRE for wind tunnel studies.
Scale model testing and CFD simulations provided BDI and Airbus with an opportunity to verify the performance of the proposed GRE design. This was a particularly valuable—and necessary—exercise given the unique site features and challenging wind conditions of the Finkenwerder quarter.
