The USAF required a jet blast deflector suitable for running B-1B aircraft at full power with afterburner. BDIās GS20 is the worldwide standard for unabated power check pads and can withstand the extreme temperatures and velocities of this application. All B-1B bases are equipped with multiple GS20 blast deflectors by BDI, typically one at each parking position.
