The design aircraft for this GRE is a B757-300 (pushback). Facility dimensions are 68m x 59m x 13m (222ft x 194ft x 45ft) and features a unique asymmetrical design, which was required in order to comply with Obstacle Limitation Surface (OLS) requirements due to the nearby runway at one side while also providing adequate acoustic performance to the nearby communities at the other side. Acceptance testing was carried out with an A320.
