Greg Rocha

Manager of Technical Services

As Manager of Technical Services, Greg is responsible for overseeing the drafting department and working with engineers to produce all technical support for Jet Blast Deflectors, Ground Run-up Facilities, and Research & Development. He also plays a key role in estimating and budgeting BDI projects. Since joining the company in 1992, he has provided support in over 800 projects worldwide. Greg is also one of the longest tenured employees at BDI and moved from California to Reno when the company relocated to BDI’s current headquarters. Before joining BDI, Greg was a SEABEE in the U.S. Navy Construction Battalion as an Engineer Aide with job duties that included drafting, design, surveying, estimating, and soils analysis for construction projects. BDI thanks Greg for his service!

“My most memorable project is the Ground Run-up Enclosure at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. It was the first 3-sided GRE ever built by BDI. At the time, we only had five full-time employees, and many long days and nights went into the design, engineering, and field support for this project.”
